Ivana Semanjski

Ivana Semanjski (professor) is a member of the Department of industrial systems engineering and product design of Ghent University in the domains of smart mobility and smart industry systems. She has participated in more than 20 scientific projects, working with multidisciplinary teams on smart systems issues and has published over 100 scientific papers, and has edited and co-authored ten books, including her latest book "Smart Urban Mobility: Transport Planning in the Age of Big Data and Digital Twins". 

She is an experienced expert evaluator for various funding agencies, including the European Commission, for mobility planning, smart systems, and data analytic related topics. Multimodal transport systems planning, intelligent transport systems analytics, digital twins, and applied big data analytics belong to her main expertise.
