Ria Vandekerckhove

Ria Vandekerckhove obtained a Master's degree in Architecture from the Higher Institute of Architecture in Sint-Lucas Ghent. In addition to her extensive experience as an independent architect, Ria has many years of teaching experience, particularly in the areas of design sketching, scientific drawing, and observation drawing. She has taught at various institutions, including the Sint-Lucas Academy in Ghent, the Higher Institute of Architecture in Sint-Lucas Ghent, LUCA School of Arts, and at the University of Ghent, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, within the Industrial Design programme and design.nexus. Her focus is on product sketches and form studies, and she specialises in quick sketches, form studies, and sketching techniques, helping students refine their visualisation skills in design.
