We engaged in the 'Industry 5.0 Summer Sessions'
(02-07-2026) What happens when you replace a conference with a transformation retreat? In Kortrijk, at the Flanders Make site, PROSPECTS 5.0 Horizon Europe Project, in collaboration with SEISMEC, SkillAIbility and Bridges5.0 projects, tried exactly that.
No long panels.
No passive listening.
Instead:

- Real company challenges
- Cross-sector problem solving
- And concrete roadmaps to take home
For two days, companies didn’t just talk about Industry 5.0 - they applied it to their own reality.
And that matters.
Because Europe’s Industry 5.0 ambition is not about concepts or policy papers alone - it is about how companies actually adopt human-centric, resilient and sustainable solutions on the ground.
From technology acceptance to workforce transformation, one thing stood out: Industry 5.0 only happens when you bring technology and people together: in practice, not just in strategy.
A big thank you to all participants and partners for the openness and willingness to co-create.
Now comes the real test - turning these roadmaps into concrete pilots, collaborations and measurable impact for Europe’s industry.
