Guest lecture by the Antwerp-based SME Sentiance
(26-05-2026) We were pleased to welcome representatives from Sentiance for an engaging lecture on "AI-native behavioural intelligence for mobility".
During the session, David Damen (COO) and Bram Reps (VP Engineering) shared how Sentiance leverages mobile sensed data and AI-driven analytics in a privacy-preserving way to address road safety challenges faced by food delivery drivers in the gig economy.
The lecture was delivered to students from the Master of Science in Operations Research Engineering, main subject modules 'Transport & Mobility' and 'Sustainable Mobility Analytics'. It provided a nice opportunity to give them further industry perspective, offering valuable insights into how AI and mobility data are applied in real-world industry contexts.
ISyE has a strong long-term collaboration with Sentiance, with several joint projects.
