UGent's Alumni Event for Masters of Science in Machine and Production Automation Engineering Technology and Masters of Science in Electronics and ICT Engineering Technology.
After a warm welcome back in UGent Campus Kortrijk, the alumni were greeted by Patrick De Baets, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture UGent. Followed by several interesting pitches about the history and development of the educational programmes and research. Thank you to Kurt Stockman, Johannes Cottyn, Jeroen De Kooning, Jos Knockaert and Sofie Van Hoecke for these talks. Special thanks to Tom Maes for his guest lecture on the ambitious and world-improving endeavours of Jan De Nul Group.
The symposium was followed by a reception during which the engineering laboratories were opened to the alumni, providing an opportunity to engage with advancements in electronics, machinery and robotics.
