Dag van de Wetenschap 2025
(25-11-2025) Yesterday, we proudly opened the doors of our infrastructure at Campus Weide in Kortrijk for Dag van de Wetenschap 2025. It was a fantastic opportunity to give visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the innovative projects and research happening within our walls.
Throughout the day, we welcomed curious minds of all ages who were eager to explore, learn, and experience science up close.
At UGent Campus Kortrijk, both Machine and Production Automation Technology and Industrial Design UGent showcased how education and innovation come together. One could also visit KUBES, the new Universiteit Gent HQ in Stad Kortrijk and VEG-i-TEC.
At Flanders Make, people experienced how research in engineering can change the future for the better. They could also visit KU Leuven's Infinity Lab and VITO.
We are grateful for the many enthusiastic visitors, including one particularly charming guest, we hope to have inspired.
