Sajjad Hedayati at IWLS 2025
(09-09-2025) Our researcher Sajjad Hedayati had the privilege of presenting his and our research at the 15th International Workshop on Lot Sizing (IWLS 2025) in Groningen, The Netherlands.
The work, "Stochastic Lot-Sizing and Scheduling for Quality-Differentiated Disassembly", tackles uncertainty in disassembly processes using stochastic optimization and scheduling methods, a key challenge in advancing the circular economy.
Sajjad would like to thank supervisor Stijn De Vuyst, Flanders Make and FlandersMake@UGent - ISyE (hey - that's us!) for their incredible support. As well as the scientific committee and organizers of IWLS 2025, especially the local team: Onur Kilic, Ruud Teunter, Wilco van den Heuvel and Albert Wagelmans for hosting such an inspiring and collaborative event.
