Our involvement in Horizon Europa AID4SME
Our contribution to AID4SMEAs part of the AID4SME project, Prof. Dr. Sidharta Gautama and Prof. Dr. Ivana Semanjski are acting as Lead Principal Investigators for topic 3.1 "Digital Twin-Enabled Smart Production Process Planning Tool" in the open call, with € 150,000 in funding available for each of the 13 topics. They are supported by researchers Elham Fakhraian and Angel Lopez Aguirre.
The AID4SME project enables SMEs to develop AI and DATA solutions through support of a Community of Practice and low-/high-TRL playground. It is designed to help SMEs in the Industry 4.0 domain by tackling large-scale resource optimisation challenges, aligned with the goals of the Green Deal.
Open call for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
There is an open call for SMEs to join in on the project. For the abovementioned topic that we are leading, the selected third party is expected to contribute by providing:
- Develop a solution that uses historical demand patterns and future demands to build more robust, flexible, and data-driven planning strategies.
- The tool developed through this challenge will analyze customer demand trends over time to uncover patterns and enable the grouping and classification of customers based on their demand characteristics.
