EA18 Teambuilding and Houssaine's Celebration
(23-09-2026) Out of the office, into the streets of Ghent. We went teambuildin'. Our EA18 team came together in Gent for a day of teambuilding with colleagues from the Department of Industrial Systems Engineering and Product Design (ISyE/ISPO).
We explored the city during a fun city game organised by Urban Event Lab, followed by lunch at Carlos Quinto. A great opportunity to connect, laugh and enjoy some time together as a team.
The day also marked an important moment for our department. After serving as head of EA18 for many years, El-Houssaine Aghezzaf passed the role to Johannes Cottyn, with Dieter Claeys taking on the role of vice head. Luckily, Houssaine won't be going far: he will continue working with us as a professor and senior researcher.
Here's to a great team, new beginnings and many more shared moments!
