After 6 years of deep-diving into the intersection of design engineering and natural biological systems, Bert is excited to invite his network to the public defence of his doctoral dissertation!
What happens when designers work directly with nature from growing materials with fungi to developing biocomposites? In this hybrid seminar and defence, Bert will share a systemic approach to advancing biodesign, along with practical open-access tools like the Biodesign Toolkit.
