SUMMIT FOR Industrial Digital Transformation
Register your visit via your personal link.ABISS is "the place to be" for management and OT-IT teams from the Benelux industry, looking for solutions to digitize their processes. The format of a 1-day event where the bundled knowledge of 14 IoT experts and future factories can be tested directly on the exhibition floor remains unchanged. The offering of expert knowledge, technologies, and partners is divided into three main themes: Industry of Things, Intelligence of Things, and Security of Things. The tone for the upcoming 9th edition of ABISS is already set!
Our research group will be present together with our partners from the TETRA VE∞X project, demonstrating applications in virtual engineering and virtual experience tailored to industrial needs in manufacturing and logistics.
Over the past 10 years, ABISS has grown into the Benelux summit, networking and trade show combo for C-levels and department heads (OT), supported by IT, looking for smart and secure solutions for the connected and integrated factory of tomorrow!

Our researcher Daniel Guzman Vargas takes the stage
Daniel Guzman Vargas from our research group will deliver an expert class on AI for manufacturing: "Unlocking Real Value in Industrial AI: Context, Quality and Knowledge".His abstract:
Artificial Intelligence is everywhere in today’s industrial discussions - with buzzwords like LLMs, GenAI, and Digital Twins often presented as one-size-fits-all solutions. Yet in practice, data alone does not create value: the key lies in understanding the real problem and matching it with the right tool. In this talk, I will share an expert perspective on the current trends in AI for manufacturing, highlighting the difference between structured and unstructured data, and the complementary strengths of classic and trendy AI tools. Drawing on real cases from our work with SMEs, I will show how value emerges when we consider context, structure unstructured knowledge, and validate results under real conditions.

Partner focus: Actemium
Actemium - "What if you could predict tomorrow's performance today? Design your Factory of the Future!"We use simulation to help you design your Factory of the Future. This includes insights into throughput bottlenecks and efficiency even before the first installation is up and running. Curious? Then visit our Actemium stand at Ghent University and Flanders Make and discover how we can help you.
Partner focus: SupportSquare
SupportSquare - "Operate smarter, safer, faster with immersive performance support"Discover how SupportSquare supports your operational teams with immersive technologies. Bringing the correct information to the right place, in the operator's field of view, when executing inspections, maintenance and production work.
Partner focus: Vintecc
Vintecc - "Simulation-as-a-service, fit for your purpose"At ABISS, Vintecc is showcasing its simulation-as-a-service demo. Based on Dual, their digital twin platform, the interactive demo connects live with the robots from Ghent University and Flanders Make. This way, Vintecc helps companies find well-founded answers faster and strengthen their business cases with virtual simulation.
Partner focus: Invisto
Invisto - "Where precision meets intuition"Invisto builds premium machine interfaces that extend far beyond simple 2D systems. With TwinStage, these interfaces are imported into virtual environments, creating a digital copy of both the machine and its interface. The result: enhanced user experience with powerful features for operation guidance, training, testing and software integration.
