MORE students on company visit at CNH
(30-04-2026) Master students of Science in Operations Research Engineering (MORE) visited the CNH plant in Zedelgem last week. This company visit took place in the context of the 'Time- and Method Study' project of the students.
Last week, students enrolled in the Master of Science in Operations Research Engineering (MORE) had the opportunity to step beyond the classroom and gain first-hand industry insights during a visit to the CNH industrial site in Zedelgem. This on-site experience was organized as part of their ongoing ‘Time and Method Study’ project, allowing them to connect theoretical concepts with real-world applications.
Throughout the visit, the students were introduced to the operational environment of the plant, where they could observe processes, workflows, and efficiency considerations in a practical setting. The experience provided valuable context for their academic work, helping them better understand how analytical methods and optimization techniques are applied in an industrial context. By engaging directly with professionals and witnessing operations up close, the students were able to deepen their understanding of time studies, process evaluation, and continuous improvement strategies in a large-scale manufacturing environment.
