Birger Raa
- Biography
Birger Raa holds a master degree in computer science engineering (UGent, 2001) and a Ph.D. in applied operational research (Department of Industrial Management, UGent, 2006). From October 2007 to December 2012, he was assistant professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at the faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Ghent University. As of January 2013, he rejoined the Department of Industrial Management, where he is responsible for courses on Operations and Supply Chain Management. His research focusses on applying operational research techniques to optimization problems in distribution and production logistics.
