Matthias Deceuninck

Biography
Matthias Deceuninck obtained his Master Degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations research at this department (2014), where he is currently working on his Ph.D. about ‘Appointment scheduling in healthcare'. He is currently teaching assistant for the course ‘Simulation of Manufacturing and Service Systems’, lectured by prof. dr. ir. Stijn De Vuyst and prof. dr. Dieter Fiems, and for the course 'Quality Engineering and Industrial Statistics', lectured by prof. dr. ir. Stijn De Vuyst. His main research interests are stochastic programming, discrete-time queueing models and its applications to operations research.
